Welcome to SUNY Brockport! We hope your travels went smoothly. Over the next few days you will create friendships, meet faculty and staff, learn about campus policies and resources, and get settled on campus and in Brockport. Below you will find helpful resources such as the schedule, access to presentations and more!

SHOPPING CONSIDERATIONS
Forgot something at home or the item was too large to travel with? Not a problem! There will be shopping opportunities throughout the week for you to purchase anything you may still need. Below is a "What to Bring" check-list provided by Residential Life. Not all items are needed but may be preferred.
- Bedding, such as:
- Sheets (twin extra long)
- Blankets, comforter, mattress cover, pillows and pillow cases
- Towels, washcloths, toiletries (toothbrush/toothpaste, soap, shampoo, lotions, hairdryer, medications, first aid kit, etc). Often students prefer to wear flip-flops and bathrobe to and from bathroom.
- Seasonal items:
- umbrella
- winter boots
- winter clothes
- A throw rug
- Clothes hangers
- Laundry essentials
- hamper/basket
- laundry detergent
- dryer sheets
- iron / small ironing board (Laundry machines are free and located throughout each residence hall. Laundry machines are also located in each Townhome unit)
- School/Desk supplies:
- planner/calendar
- bookbag
- notebooks
- writing utensils
- post-it notes
- etc.
- Crates, bins, or containers for storage (no storage outside of room is available)
- Poster tack or carpenter’s tack to hang posters (no tape or nails allowed)
- Dishes, cups, bowls, silverware, dish soap, etc.
- Snacks and beverages
- Electrical appliances
- Surge Protector Strips (extension cords are NOT allowed)
- Desk lamp
- Humidifier
