Diversity Abroad Honors Scholarship (SUNY)

Brockport is pleased to award a $2,000 scholarship for the Winter/Spring 2018 & Summer/Fall 2018 semesters.  Students must have an overall GPA of 2.8 or higher to be considered.  Deadline for Winter/Spring 2019 has been extended  to October 8, 2018 and the deadline for Summer/ Fall 2019 is March 6th, 2019.  To apply, please complete the below application along with the recommendation form and submit it to Brockport's Center for Global Education and Engagement by the deadlines. This scholarship is only for Brockport students. If you are a SUNY student, contact your home campus study abroad office for details on how to apply to this SUNY Diversity scholarship.  For more information and to apply, review the below documents.  **Please submit completed application to Center for Global Education and Engagement in Dailey Hall (2nd floor).  

Please note: The office will review applications and select 1 student to nominate. We will notify you if you've been nominated. This does not guarantee that you'll receive the scholarship but that is has been selected to go onto SUNY to be reviewd. 


(Candidates must be United States citizens, permanent resident aliens and New York State residents. Those nominated from underrepresented and low-income categories may receive positive consideration as diversity candidates. Students receiving awards will be required to submit a summary of their experience detailing how it contributed to their career and college goals within 60 days of completing their study abroad program.)
