Travel Award

This award was established to support Brockport students in studying abroad on exchange for the fall 2020 semester. Students who participate on certain exchange programs are eligible to receive $500 towards their airfare when booking with  a certain travel agency.

Awards are available to students who are accepted and participate on any of the following exchange programs for the fall 2020 semester:

Students who qualify for this award will receive $500 towards their airfare when they book through recommended travel agent, Advantage Travel. Awards are for one semester only (fall 2020) and cannot be deferred. This award will not be available if students book their flight through another travel agent. 

As part of the scholarship conditions, students will be required to undertake one of the following activities for Brockport's Center for Global Education and Engagement:
  • Contribute journals of their experience on a monthly basis, for the study abroad period
  • Represent the host university at Brockport's study abroad fair and on campus events on return from their study abroad experience
  • Contribute program panels and serve as am ambassador for prospective students as required
  • Represent The College at Brockport at their host universities international events during their study abroad period
